It’s one of those four-star properties that actually feels more upscale than its rating suggests — honestly, the lobby alone had me wondering if I’d accidentally booked something fancier than I thought. The staff greeted me like I was checking into a friend’s well-appointed place rather than just another hotel guest, which set the tone for everything that followed.

Location & Neighborhood

The location on Bulevardul Unirii is genuinely fantastic, and I mean that in the most practical sense. You’re basically in the heart of Bucharest without feeling like you’re drowning in tourist chaos. I could walk to the Old Town in about fifteen minutes, but when I wanted to grab coffee or dinner, there were plenty of local spots right around the corner that didn’t feel like tourist traps. The couples rating makes total sense here — there’s something romantic about strolling down Unirii Boulevard in the evening, especially when you know you’ve got a comfortable place to return to.

The Apartment Experience

What really sets this place apart is that each room feels like an actual apartment rather than just a hotel room with a mini-fridge. The kitchen setup was surprisingly well-equipped — I’m talking real cookware, not those sad hotel kitchenettes with one bent spoon. I ended up making breakfast a couple of mornings because, well, why not? The space flows naturally between the sleeping area and living space, so it never felt cramped even when my partner and I were both doing our own things.
